How to lose weight and keep it off
You've seen the show – now it's time to read the book!
'The Biggest Loser' television series has inspired people here in Australia, as well as overseas, to change their life by adopting a practical diet and fitness program.
Now the book, based on the popular TV series, is available, and reading it is just like having your own personal 'Biggest Loser' coach at home.

The contents of the book have been divided up into three major parts.

• How do you lose weight? The answers to this question include such actions as changing your bad food habits into good ones, being patient with yourself and changing your thinking.
• What are your lifestyle and health goals? For instance, it could be to lose a specified number of kilos, or to be able to walk/run a certain distance, or to lower your blood pressure, or maybe something else altogether. The specific goals that you choose will be different to every person who reads this book.
The second part of 'The Biggest Loser' book puts the spotlight on two important topics, firstly, 'The Biggest Loser' eating plan, and secondly, 'The Biggest Loser' exercise plan.
The eating plan covers everything that you need to know about healthy eating. Examples of topics that are discussed include how much food you actually need; the right sorts of food to eat; and what you should be drinking. It is in this part of the book too that you will find the details of the 10 biggest loser steps to weight-loss success
The exercise plan explains why exercise is so important and where to start with your exercising. The third and final part of the book contains a couple of detailed plans to get you started on your journey, namely, the 'KickStart' plan and the 'LifeStyle' plan. Both plans provide advice and tips about eating (menus are provided) and exercising (colour photos are used to show you how to perform each of the different exercises).
As its name suggests, the 'KickStart' plan is a 14-day plan that has been 'devised to help kickstart your weight-loss – not only will it improve the health of your body and digestive system, it will strengthen your motivation to continue your lifestyle change'.
Once you have successfully completed the 'KickStart' plan, the 'LifeStyle' plan has been specifically set up to provide you with a new, and ongoing, lifestyle of healthy eating and exercising.
To assist you in doing that, this part of the book also has more than 60 delicious, healthy and easy to make recipes. To make it as simple as possible to find what you need, the recipes have been organised for you into the following categories: breakfasts; soups, salads and light meals; dinners; and desserts and sweet treats.
